Modern, Asymmetrical Fall Wreath Workshop

November 19, 2021By 0Floral

On Thursday, November 4, 2021 we hosted our first floral workshop at The Micro Venue in Ballard, Seattle. We used dried florals, metal hoops, and a variety of fabrics to create modern, asymmetrical fall wreaths. While we worked, we snacked on macarons from The SweetSide and listened to Frank Sinatra.

To say this was the perfect way to spend a winter evening, would be an understatement. In fact, it was a dream come true. I have wanted to teach a class ever since my husband David starting teaching Accounting 101 at the community college seven years ago. I remember telling him, “You’re so cool. I wish I was an expert in something so I could teach a class”.

Although I consider myself far from an expert, I did finally lead a class and it was everything I hoped it would be. We’ll definitely be hosting another floral workshop in the future, but for now, here’s a few photos from the year’s Fall Wreath Workshop.
